1. Charlie remembers his visit at the quack doctors because when he was there he was strapped down and it sounded just like an airplane. On the airplane he is forced to wear his seatbelt and feels like he is being restrained.

Because it reminds him of when he was strapped to a table by a quack doctor and was "treated" so he wouldn't be mentally disabled any more.

He remembers because he was tied down to a table with his doctor, on the plane he is restrained to his seat and that feelings makes him remember the feeling of being restrained

He didn't like the seat belt because he feels restrained and halted and the loud machine sounding like a plane scared him more
