The narrator thinks that for it to be a real home it has to have its own stairs. The narrator is not satisfied with the house, she wants a nicer one. She does not feel she belongs there.

She thinks that a home is a place where it's just you and your family with stairs in ur house not hallways. She is not satisfied with her house it's not a home to her. She does not feel she belongs there she feels she belongs in a "real home"

She believes that more than one bedroom, a white house with a picket fence makes a house a home. Also the home would have running water, a big yard, and a flight of stairs. She is not satisfied with the house because it is not the way her parents told her it would be. She doesn't think she belongs there because it is not what she always wanted in a house.

She thinks that a home is where your family grows and live together but she feels like she doesn't belong there
