At the beginning of Chapter 3, the narrator says, “A town is a thing like a colonial animal. A town has a nervous system and a head and shoulder and feet. A town is a thing separate from all other towns, so that there are no two towns alike. And a town has a whole emotion. How news travels through a town is a mystery not easily solved.” How does this description compare/contrast to how news spreads at this school? I feel like at my school. We spread news the same way the story does. If one persons finds out some ones business. They need to tell another person to embarrass them are make them see cool. Everybody talks about big news at lunch. It also starts from one person telling another and the cycle keeps going.

In school it is different because you can text to share. And it is different because only some people know about it.

There is a different between the story and the school and reason why is that the school .once one person know the the whole school knows in two second. Now in the book one person has to tell one person it takes time . Also I think that it's a negative thing to do that because that person tells you and only you

This picture compairs to things at school by if you hear something from someone they will tell a friend and call and text people at home and the story can get twisted and changed. I think most of the way news spreads is negative because someone will think of that person different

I think that this picture describes what happens at pretty well because when one person finds out something they feel like they have to tell some one else so they do. Then next thing you know is that who ever it is about gets around to them. Then they find out and get mad, and try to figure out who said it in the beginning. But really the prolly will not find out who it was.

It's pretty similar because at the high school people talk and go to their friends and tell them something that happened. Then that friend tells another friend and that friend tells a different friend, it's like a wild fire it just keeps spreading and spreading until the entire school knows.

The description compares to how to news travels through our school because everyone finds out by a person. Also because once you here the news our school will have a emotion, depending on what they hear. It is negative and positive quality the way the news spreads because it really all depends on how it is told and what type of things happened. Comments are closed.
